Kapahaka
At Our Lady of the Assumption School we are very proud to have an enthusiastic group of children who participate in our Kapa haka group.
Children from Y1 upwards can take part in Kapa haka. Mr Grant is responsible for this group and teaches them weekly on Fridays from 1.10 p.m. to 2.00 p.m, assisted by Mrs Morgan.
Our Kapahaka group perform at various times throughout the year, such as at our ‘Welcoming Ceremony’ for new families to our school and at our end of year prizegiving.
